Auctions are a unique, exciting and satisfying way to buy and sell. Now you can join us in the saleroom wherever you are with Arthur Johnson and Sons live webcasts.
Bid from anywhere
Working together with thesaleroom.com, Arthur Johnson and Sons brings our Salerooms One and Two Saturday auctions to you via the web. Bidding online is secure, easy and fast, so even if you can’t make it to our Nottingham Auction Centre in person, you’ll still be able to snap up the things you love.
What’s more, unlike automated online auction sites you’ll be in the care of a professional auctioneer, meaning that you can bid with complete peace of mind.
We can post most items in the collectables category to you after you win an auction, and for a minimal charge we offer complete in-house packing together with Royal Mail Special Delivery. For example, 10 minutes packing costs just £6 plus VAT. If the item you have purchased fits in a jiffy bag, the charge is just £5.00 plus VAT for packaging, plus the postage. For some heavier overseas purchases we have a successful arrangement with Mailboxes in Nottingham.
Registering for an online bidding number is just a few short clicks away at thesaleroom.com.
Sign up today, and whether you’re shopping for antique or mid-century furniture, art, vintage items, jewellery, collectables or clocks - you’ll never have to miss out again.
Pre-sale condition reports can also be requested by emailing us at email@example.com.

What’s more, it costs just £1.75 (plus our standard sales commission) per item to enter your lot our webcast auction, making for truly outstanding value for money. We keep our packaging charges to an absolute minimum. For example, 10 minutes packing will be charged to the purchaser at just £6 plus VAT to include labour, materials and delivery to the post office. If the item you have purchased can be sent in a jiffy bag, the charge will be just £5.00 plus VAT for packaging. Postage is, of course, extra.
