We would like to invite you to attend our Saturday auctions in person for the first time since March 2020.

Thanks to our new website and AJ Live bidding platform, our online auctions have been remarkably successful over the past year. However, we’ve missed having you with us on sale days. After all, nothing beats the atmosphere of having customers in the saleroom.

Nevertheless, despite the government’s easing of restrictions, we are very much aware of the rise in Covid cases and therefore the need to reopen our sale days carefully and gradually.

We are now open for bidding in person all of our Auction Rooms.

The refreshment facility inside the salerooms will remain closed, but the burger van will be available outside, as will The Silly Sausage café when it re-opens.

We are looking forward to seeing you but we also want to keep everyone Covid-safe so here are some guidelines that we respectfully ask you to follow:

• Please wear a face mask if you can.

• Please be mindful of others and remain ‘socially distanced’ from fellow customers, whether you are seated or standing.

• Crucially, our experience during the week is that as government regulations no longer make it compulsory, some customers prefer not to wear a mask. We expect that a certain number will do the same on Saturdays. If you feel that this presents an unacceptable risk, we can reassure you that AJ Live will always be available for you to bid online from home as you have been doing for the past twelve months.

We hope to see many of our customers, both new and old, on Saturday.  If you do attend please have a look around the street market.  The traders have had an extremely challenging time without the auction customers, so your support for them would be greatly appreciated.

Best Wishes
